Center for the Study of Women and Society: we create, fund, and share research that addresses the complicated nature of gender identities and inequalities.


Institute of Ecology and Evolution:  facilitates research and graduate education in ecology and evolutionary biology


Ecological Design Center: strives to inform individuals regarding environmental issues through a variety of means, design projects, workshops, panels, and keynote speakers.


Environmental and Natural Resources Law Program: For more than 40 years, the University of Oregon School of Law’s Environmental and Natural Resources Law (ENR) Center’s focus on public interest environmental law and commitment to innovations in environmental legal education have made it one of the nation’s oldest and most respected programs.


Institute for a Sustainable Environment (ISE) : center for innovative, interdisciplinary research at the nexus of ecological, economic, and social sustainability.


Institute of Cognitive and Decision Sciences: The Institute of Cognitive and Decision Sciences is dedicated to exploring the workings of the mind and brain and how they affect human behavior and social interaction.


Labor Education and Research Center: The Labor Education and Research Center is a state-wide program that combines teaching, research, and public service to improve the lives of Oregon’s workers, their families, and their communities.


Ocean and Coastal Law Center: Oregon Law’s Ocean and Coastal Law program provides students with the opportunity to research and analyze current ocean and coastal law topics and to publish the results in books, law journals and on the Center’s web site.


Oregon Humanities Center: Overlooking the Memorial Quad, the Oregon Humanities Center is located near the Knight Library in 154 Prince Lucien Campbell (PLC) Hall. The Center houses offices for four residential fellows in addition to those of the OHC staff. The OHC Conference Room provides a venue for Work-in-Progress talks, colloquia, dissertation defenses, and other meetings.
