Spring Brown Bag and Events Schedule
On Apr 13th, Michelle Jacob (Professor in Education Studies UO) will be presenting a talk called, “Decolonizing Environmental Studies: Lessons from Anakú Iwachá” from 12:00-1:30pm in COL 249. Lunch will be served.
On May 4th, Sarah Stapleton (Assistant Professor in Education Studies UO) will be presenting a talk called, “Environmental Education from a Critical Perspective”, from 12:00-1:30pm, COL 249. Lunch will be served.
This year, our program will also be hosting the 23rd Joint Campus Conference. It will take place on Tuesday, May 30th (Gerlinger Lounge) from 9:30am-4:00pm. We have planned on a number of short students presentations, a faculty panel over lunch (served), and also a poster session where students from PSU, OSU, and UO will present their research. Our main theme for the conference is “Disturbance and Resilience”. We will be putting out a call for poster submissions shortly.
