Rich Margerum publishes book on collaborative planning
Beyond Consensus: Improving Collaborative Planning and Management discusses how collaborative efforts in public planning are implemented and identifies ways to improve their implementation and results. Edward Weber, Director and Professor of Environmental Studies at UN-LV, calls it “a good, powerful way to pull together the complicated dynamics of collaboratives in an understandable manner for scholars and practitioners. And it does an excellent job offering up practical lessons for public and private stakeholders to apply.” Drawing from 15 years of research, his work focuses on over sixty U.S. and Australian case studies.
