Dr. Peter Walker publishes a new book on the political ecology of anti-sprawl politics

Peter Walker has co-authored a new book with Patrick Hurley.  “Planning Paradise:  Politics and Visioning of Land Use in Oregon” was published by The University of Arizona Press in May 2011.  The book investigates Oregon’s unique land use planning system, and asks “how and why a planning system that was once the nation’s most visible and successful example of a comprehensive regulatory approach to preventing sprawl nearly collapsed.”
