Doctoral student Shangrila Joshi Wynn receives teaching appointment at Denison University

Upon completion of her Ph.D. program in Environmental Science, Studies and Policy at the end of this academic year, Shangrila Joshi Wynn will join the Environmental Studies faculty at Denison University in Fall 2011 as a Visiting Assistant Professor. She will teach two courses during 2011-12: People and the Environment and Politics of the Global Environment.

Shangrila visited the Denison campus in Granville, OH in early November, and was impressed by the faculty and students of the ENVS program there, and especially by how closely they seemed to work together. She is thrilled to be joining their ENVS community next year, and looks forward to living in beautiful Granville and close to extended family in nearby Indiana and Pennsylvania.
