The talk, “Afroculinaria: Exploring the Foodways Legacy of Trans-Atlantic Slavery,” will be a dynamic dialogue between two amazing people and moderated by Riki Saltzman of the Oregon Folklife Network. We are excited to host Judith Carney (UCLA) and Michael Twitty (Antebellum Chef and Kosher/Soul) – each with rich experiences and perspectives – as our conversation participants.
