Allyson Woodard wins essay award
ENVS Master’s student Allyson Woodard tied for third place in the Student Category of the Oregon Quarterly’s annual Northwest Perspectives Essay Contest. Her essay, published on the magazine’s website along with other contest winners, reflects on her experience working a desk job for The Peregrine Fund and is entitled “Lunch Hour: How a Hawk Taught Me the 9 to 5″.
