I am in the siting, licensing, and permitting group of the energy division. Which basically means I help make energy projects happen. Most of what we do is wind farms in Eastern Oregon and Washington, as well as biomass, geothermal, and natural gas pipelines.

Courses I've taken that prepared me for my current job:
Getting a double master\'s in ENVS and Community and Regional Planning was a good idea for this line of work as I have the technical knowledge in planning from the CRP program with an understanding of the greater environmental issues of energy and society.

Courses I wish I had taken:
Something a bit more technical about engineering or economics to be prepared for a corporate job
